If you'd like to submit something to the scrapbook, we welcome your contributions of work and/or conference abstracts.

For the EGO scrapbook, we are looking for the following contributions:

  1. Any photographs of English graduate students at work (conferences, MFA readings) or play (outings, parties). Any and all photographs are welcome. Please make sure that any picture you send is captioned with Names, Programs (MA, MFA, or PhD), where picture was taken, and any other salient information you would like posted with the pictures.
  2. Any articles that mention UF English graduate students in general or in particular that you believe would be appropriate for the scrapbook (but not any information that would already be submitted to the department newsletter).
  3. Any original works of poetry, short fiction, or short non-fiction from MAs, MFAs or Ph.D. students.

For the Abstracts page, we are looking for any abstract that you SUCCESSFULLY submitted to a conference. This way, we can have a reference for newer graduate students who have never written an abstract before. When submitting an abstract for publication on the EGO Website, please include the following:

  • Name
  • Program (MA, MFA, PhD)
  • Name of the Conference
  • Date you presented (or will present) the paper
