The point Tiffany brough up about the ending going along with the Animatrix really caught my attention. I do think that has a lot to do with this movie, and I also dont think that many people have seen the Animatrix. I loved them, however I would not have seen them on my own. Typically I dont like Anime. So, I too think this could have been the reason that the movie didn't get such great reviews.
