Instead of just writing an extensive description of the room that pops up when you enter the room, possibly only write a brief descriptiod and then guide the visitor to a note that would further describe the room's characteristics. This could possible add the "unheimlich-ness" or "uncanny-ness" of the room, since the person must read a note to obtain more information of the room itself. Let me know what you think. Thanks :-)! I agree with Lauren in that if we all created a note, all of the rooms would be similar and the visitor would expect this. I think each of our rooms should be different but maybe contain a similar element (like an oompa loompa)so that when the visitor enters each room, it is a different environment yet things are familiar. The oompa loompas would help to create the creepiness factor (unheimlich quality)throughout our entire floor. Our penthouse is going to be awesome!!
