-> I personally did not think "revolutions" explained that many unanswered questions that we haven't already knew the answer of. But thats b/c we've exhausted the matrix world in class, but for the people who didn't really study the matrix concept, they might see "revolutions" as the missing piece of a jigsaw puzzle. I think it was a overall average movie which just had to be in order to end a trilogy. I'm sure the third LOTR will pretty much have the same reaction.
I agree with Gabriel about the Matrix movie and trilogy but I Matt's idea about the LOTR third movie agrees with my thoughts. I think the matrix may have been so disinteresting to me becuase we have explored it so thoroughly in class that nothing seemed new or exciting in the last of the series. But LOTR is different. I just recently watched the first and second movies for the first time and really liked them. It is probably because we haven't probed into it so everything is still a mystery to me. I also think that the fact that they incorporate new characters into each movie is done in a more interesting way than matrix was. I;m not sure what it is about it but I am really excited about the third one coming out in December! I hope I will enjoy it much more than the Matrix. Maybe its the unpredictability of it--who knows but I'm really looking forward to it!
